Everyone Can Game Together – A HUGE Thank You for the HUGE Support of our 24 Hour Gaming Marathon!

For those of you who know us, follow us, or regularly get stuck in with all things Everyone Can, you will have heard us shouting about the Everyone Can gaming marathon. It was held at our shiny, new and fully equipped technology and gaming centre last weekend, 18th to 19th August. If somehow you managed to miss out on this party or all parties, don’t worry – we will tell you all about it now – and after the success of this one, we’re sure they’ll be another planned for the future! For those of you who were able to come along, or support us through our Twitch channel, we want to say a massive thank you and we really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
What Went On at the Gaming Marathon?

Well, a whole lot of fun is what. With over 80 people joining us at the Everyone Can technology and gaming centre in Sale, plus countless more people tuning in via our Twitch channel, we had a jam-packed day of celebrations. We even had a few strong souls who managed to stay with the staff for the full 24 hours!
We had face painters, Stromtroopers (seeing them drink tea was an altogether bizarre experience!), loads of gaming tournaments, food and drinks, and lots of happy people. We gave away t-shirts, stickers, games, posters, hats and more to the kids in the centre who won competitions. The PS4 Days of Play console got us lots of lovely donations – unsurprisingly, it was in demand! This went to Ramon Fernandez – congratulations! And an enormous congratulations too to the winner of the Logitech wheel, Jonathan Cowling and the Tablet, Claire McLaughlin.
We raised a whopping £1000 over the 24 hours! We are absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to put it towards an assistive gaming station. This means that when a severely disable child comes along to one of the Everyone Can Gaming sessions who might not be able to use a regular controller they can be set up in seconds.
A Bit About Everyone Can

(Apologies to those who already know)

We believe that everyone deserves to feel like they belong to a community and live a life full of joy, in spite of any challenges faced.
