Festive Fun with Everyone Can: see our pics and rundown of the day!
After the success of our Halloween gaming special and the festive season creeping up on us we HAD to do a Christmas gaming session, and boy are we pleased we did, we had SO much fun.
On Wednesday 19th December we welcomed all the children that use our centre to have a festive fun evening with us. We greeted over 40 children all wearing wonderful Christmas jumpers, some snazzy head gear and most importantly huge smiles!! The staff and volunteers also got into the Christmas spirit and we dug out our favourite Christmas jumpers (gaming themed ones of course!)
The evening started with over 40 children arriving, receiving popcorn and then getting settled on the bean bags and chairs ready for our festive film to begin. At 4:30pm the lights went off and the hilarious Elf begun, lots of laughter filled the centre watching Elf try to fit into New York City! Once the film finished two VERY important people arrived – Paul with a trolley full of pizzas oh and of course FATHER CHRISTMAS!
That’s right once the film was over the feasting could begin, visits to Father Christmas begun and then of course our much loving gaming session kicked off. Pizza, gaming and Father Christmas, what more could you want?
A huge thanks to everyone who supported the event
We want to take this time to say a huge thank you to everyone that came to this event, everyone who helped with our festive feasting and provided cakes and everyone who donated to our charity on the night. We would also like to thank the people that made it possible, a huge thanks to Hyper Luminal Games who sponsored the event so we could purchase everything and ensure the event was free to all families. Thanks to Altrincham Catering Hire for providing the chairs, otherwise it could have been an uncomfortable movie screening! Then last but certainly not least a big thanks to the Sale Rotary Club for ensuring Father Christmas paid us a visit and even bought presents for the children!
What will 2019 bring for Everyone Can
Here at Everyone Can HQ, we like to do our best to ensure the fun never ends and the gaming sessions keep coming! We will now be closing over Christmas but in January our gaming sessions are continuing, and you can find out when via the Everyone Can news and events page on our website, or by following us on social media. Our Halloween and Christmas special gaming sessions have been a huge success so watch this space for the 2019 themed gaming sessions!
