If you are planning to take on a challenge or hold an event and looking for a charity to support, then please look no further? We’re a very small charity so funds you are able to raise on our behalf could make a HUGE difference!
Here’s our 5-step guide to supporting us and helping disabled people through the power of gaming!
Step 1 -Choose your event
CREATE YOUR OWN EVENT
You may already have an event in mind or you may be searching for an idea.
Here are just a few ideas of how you can fundraise for us on your own, with your colleagues or with your friends:
- Sponsored runs
- Sponsored walks
- Pay to Play a game (at work or at school)
- Bike rides
- Dress down day in work
- Cake sale
- Quiz nights
- Gaming marathon
- Football tournament
- Music nights
And those are just to name a few!!

Alternatively, you may wish to join and take part in one of our annual events.
Game Together is our annual fundraiser in September that seriously puts the FUN in fundraiser! If you love gaming then this is the fundraiser for you. It is a weekend dedicated to gaming and raising funds to help disabled people game together.
Step 2 – Get others involved
Depending on the event, you may wish to get others involved too. If you’re running a race, why not ask around and see if others would like to join in. They could also raise money and help make an even greater difference to disabled people’s lives!
Step 3 – Choose how you collect your donations
You could go down the traditional route and collect sponsors on a sponsorship form or you could use the many online tools that are designed to help do this for you. A popular website is Just Giving and our Just Giving page is here Click on the Fundraise for Us button and follow the instructions. They even support Gift Aid so that each donation can go even further. There is also a Donate button in case you have collected cash.
Step 4 – Let people know about your event and why you are doing it
People may not have heard of our charity and the work that we do. To help with this, we have made videos and have logos and pictures that you can use in emails when asking for donations.
You can find all our helpful media and resources here… HERE.
Let us know what you intend to do and when and we will shout about it too.
