GAME TOGETHER 2020!

The return of Game Together!

It seems COVID-19 had big plans for 2020, it has so far cancelled all of our fundraising events this year, hitting us hard financially! But we’re putting our foot down and this September will be back with our annual fundraiser Game Together!

Obviously everyone’s safety is our priority so we’ve had to make changes to the event to ensure we can adhere to social distancing. But the aims are still the same, a 24 hour gaming marathon to raise funds to help disabled people game together! In previous years we’ve opened the centre for 24 hours and welcomed anyone that wanted to join us in our gaming marathon, whether it be for 24 minutes or 24 hours! It’s turned into a bit of a party with gaming storm troopers, competitions, face painters and lots of cake! We’ve raised money by streaming the full 24 hours on our Twitch channel, receiving donations from people coming to the centre and holding an awesome raffle!

This year Game Together will be held from 10am on Saturday 26th September – 10am on Sunday 27th September! But due to the limited capacity and social distancing we’re sadly unable to hold a big party this year and that’s why we need your help more than ever to ensure we can raise just as many funds! There are still a number of ways in which you can get involved…

• Stream! If you’re a streamer and love gaming why not set yourself a challenge that weekend and do a charity stream for Everyone Can! We don’t expect you to do the full 24 hours just any contribution would make a huge difference. We have everything you need in our streaming pack from Twitch overlays, logos, photos and videos so just get in touch to register!
• Come & game at the centre with us for 24 hours! Spaces are limited & gamers will need to raise a minimum of £240 in sponsorship – you’ll receive a Game Together t-shirt, plenty of food & 24 hours of gaming on a wide range of equipment!
• Donate and support our stream! The staff will be gaming for 24 hours so any support and donations we can get are sure to keep us motivated! Watch our stream here over the Game Together weekend.
