Data Subjects

People who use our services or make donations to the charity.

What we do with your personal data?

We use personal data for a number of reasons these include:

  1. To help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for people who use our services.

As we all know, no two people are alike and so it stands to reason that no two people need exactly the same support and considerationWithout asking questions, we can’t offer tailored support to our gamers. If there is an emergency or we have a concern that we feel you should know about, we will need to contact you.

 2. To help report to the people who fund our work.

A lot of the hard work we do goes on behind the scenes. Apart from trying to make our services as affective as we can, we work hard to make sure they are offered as at little or no cost. For this to happen, we have to say we are going to do an amazing job, then do an amazing job and then report back to the people who give us money to say to how we did it, to whom and more importantly, show quotes and pictures of this happening.

 3. To let other people like you, know of what we do.

There are many ways in which we can spread the word of how we help people. However, the best way is through smiley faces and wonderful quotes. Therefore we like to use photos and things that people have said about us on our promotional stuff, such as website and social media.

 4. To let you know what we are doing and what’s coming up.

We use people’s email addresses to inform people about our work so that you can take advantage of our services.

5. GiftAid

GiftAid makes a huge difference to our charity and costs donors nothing. You just have to confirm you are a UK tax payer and by doing so give your name and address. Nothing will be done with this information it just gives our charity extra money, 25p for every £1 to be exact!

Additional optional information we only keep and use with your consent.

Your right to withdraw consent at any time. You can tell us that you no longer wish us to use your data in this way and, if you do, we must stop using it as soon as is reasonably practical.
